For your self-managed super fund, year ended 30 June 2026. Please send the items below that apply — the more complete the pack, the faster we can prepare and audit the fund.
Always needed: the fund's full-year bank statements (1 July 2025 – 30 June 2026) for all accounts — the independent audit requires them, even if the fund is on software.
What's new for FY2026
The handful of changes most likely to matter for your fund this year.
Timing is everything. Contributions must land in the fund's bank account by 30 June to count this year — don't leave the transfer to the last day.
Catch-up contributions. Unused before-tax caps from the last five years may let you contribute more and claim a deduction.
Balances over $3m — a new tax. A proposed extra 15% on earnings (Division 296) is coming; we'll tell you if it touches your fund.
Review member insurance. Easy to overlook, and trustees are expected to consider cover each year.
1 · Bank & contributions
Full-year fund bank statements — all accounts, including any term deposits
Contributions paid into the fund during the year — amounts and dates (and let us know if you want to claim any as a tax deduction)
Tell us about any changes to members
If you started, changed or stopped a pension this year, let us know
2 · Investments
Investment income statements — dividends, distributions, interest
A valuation of the fund's investments as at 30 June 2026 + the year's transaction history; all documents from your platform / wrap provider
Buy & sell contracts for any shares sold or purchased
A 30 June market value for other assets (property, collectables, etc.)
3 · Property in the fund
The current lease / rental agreement
The property loan statement — full year
Rates, insurance and expense invoices
If bought or sold: the contract + settlement statement
4 · Supporting documents
Invoices or contracts for the year's transactions (so the auditor can verify them)
Insurance policy documents for members (if the fund holds insurance)
Let us know if the trust deed was updated this year
We take care of these for you — nothing needed: rollover statements (they come to us electronically), the actuarial certificate if your fund pays a pension, and all reporting to the ATO.
